exhibition was the highlight at Billericay Library this week with dozens
of visitors attending(...). Senior library assistant (...) said:
"The exhibition has been very successful and has generated a lot of
interest."

"Arts and
crafts with a Polish feel"
A new exhibition with a distinctly Eastern European feel starts at
Billericay Library(...). Polcraft, a company specialising in the import
and sale of Polish arts and crafts,(...) formed in 1999, has since
showcased the art of respected Polish artists (...). A Polcraft
spokesman said: "Polish people are famous for their sense of humour
and spontaneous character. Arts created by Poles give the same
impression". All of the featured artists have had their work
exhibited by major galleries in Poland, both individually and as part of
collectives. The selection exhibited in Billericay is intended to show
the wide range of styles and subject matter covered by the artists. A
library spokesman said: "We are very fortunate to be able to
display a selection of Polish watercolours, pastels, silk painting,
ceramics and glass painting at Billericay library" (...) Essex
country councillor Bonnie Hart, cabinet member for lifelong learning and
libraries, added: "Essex Libraries are always very pleased to be
able to support talented artists"(...)
